The UI Update!


Some major changes to the game's visuals:

  • Now the map is within the player's HUD to have access to at all times.
  • The directional buttons are all placed in their respective direction so that player's just need to look at where the buttons are to move in that direction.
  • The beginning story dump is sectioned & highlighted to improve readability.
  • At the beginning of the game, the quest is highlighted to encourage the player to interact with the quests.
  • Each quest will say which quests the player is currently on, even after they have completed their quest in order to decrease confusion the player may have when they complete a quest before interacting with the quest TAB.
  • Each location has their own short description to increase immersion and descriptive scenery.
  • The player's days/location, HUD, and action list are segmented to improve visual hierarchy.
